FCT Police Investigate Murder of Retired Brigadier General Udokwe

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has initiated a thorough investigation into the brutal murder of retired Nigerian Army Brigadier General, Uwem Harold Udokwe. The incident, suspected to be the work of armed robbers, occurred early Saturday morning at Sunshine Homes Estate in Abuja.

According to a statement from the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, General Udokwe was attacked and killed around 3 am. Following the incident, FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth C. Igweh, has directed a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.

CP Igweh extended his condolences to the family of the deceased and assured them, along with the public, of a swift and just resolution. He emphasized that those responsible for the heinous crime would be apprehended and brought to justice promptly.
