Everton is close to signing Ndidi

Everton is reportedly close to securing a deal to sign Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi on a free transfer. Ndidi, whose contract with Leicester City expires at the end of this month, has not reached an agreement on a new contract with the club.

Several clubs, including Monaco, Olympique Lyon, and Olympique Marseille, are interested in Ndidi. However, Everton has emerged as the frontrunner, with advanced negotiations ongoing with Ndidi’s representatives. According to Football Insider, Ndidi has agreed to join the Merseyside club.

Everton are keen to add Ndidi’s quality and experience to their midfield. The 27-year-old has made 192 Premier League appearances for Leicester City, scoring four goals and providing five assists in 32 league matches last season.
