London – British Jamaican rapper Stefflon Don addressed rumors about rekindling her relationship with Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy during an interview with GRM Daily. This followed a recent clash with Jamaican star Jada Kingdom over Burna Boy.

The confusion arose when the interviewer asked about rekindling her relationship, which Stefflon Don initially misinterpreted as a reference to Burna Boy instead of Jada Kingdom. “You are funny,” she responded, laughing, before realizing the interviewer was referring to Jada.

Stefflon Don and Jada Kingdom recently exchanged barbs after Stefflon’s new song, “Dat A Dat,” suggested an unnamed woman had slept with her partner. This prompted Jada Kingdom, linked romantically with Burna Boy, to respond.

Addressing the feud, Stefflon Don clarified that she no longer cared about Burna Boy and Jada Kingdom’s alleged relationship as she was no longer with him. She emphasized that her diss track wasn’t directed at Jada, whom she said she was “cool” with despite not being friends.

“We [me and Jada] used to be cool. And the situation that happened [Burna and Jada’s alleged affair], I wasn’t even with him [Burna Boy] then. I don’t even care what he is doing,” Stefflon Don said. “In the song, I said my man, not my ex. That [Burna Boy] was my ex.”

When asked about the possibility of rekindling her relationship with Burna Boy, she laughed and said, “You are funny? I don’t know.” She then realized the interviewer was talking about her and Jada Kingdom, not Burna Boy, and added, “Oh! You are talking about me and Jada? I thought you were talking about me and Burna. That’s funny.”

Stefflon Don and Burna Boy split in 2021 after dating since 2019. In April 2024, rumors of a rekindled romance surfaced after Burna Boy reportedly gifted Stefflon Don a car for her birthday. Neither has confirmed nor denied the reports.
