American movie star Emma Roberts has candidly discussed her unsuccessful relationships with actors Garrett Hedlund and Cody John, revealing that she no longer wishes to date fellow thespians.
Roberts began dating Cody John in 2022, shortly after her breakup with Hedlund. However, this relationship also ended swiftly. In a recent interview with Flaunt, Roberts shared her insights into the challenges of dating within her profession.
“It’s hard, I think, for two actors to be together. I’m trying to think if I’ve seen it done successfully,” Roberts explained. She highlighted the difficulties posed by method acting, a common practice among her ex-partners. “The actors I’ve been with border on method actors, and that is something that I think is extremely difficult to be in a relationship with — at least for me, especially the characters that they were playing.”
Reflecting on her experiences, Roberts noted a significant change in her perspective. “One day the veil was lifted and I didn’t want to date actors anymore,” she stated, signalling a clear shift in her approach to relationships.
