American singer Britney Spears has made a dramatic vow to never love again. The pop icon declared that she will not be with another man “as long as [she] live[s],” following a tumultuous relationship with her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz. Spears aired her grievances about Soliz’s alleged toxic behavior in a now-deleted Instagram tirade.
In a subsequent Instagram post, also deleted later, Spears wrote, “Single as f**k! I will never be with another man as long as I live.” This declaration follows a series of highly publicized and often tumultuous relationships for the singer.
Spears began dating Soliz after her brief marriage to Sam Asghari ended. Asghari filed for divorce after only 14 months of marriage. Prior to Asghari, Spears was married to Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two children, Sean, 18, and Jayden, 17.
Spears’ romantic history has been notably rocky, including a well-publicized relationship with Justin Timberlake from 1998 to 2002. Each of her relationships, including her marriages, has ended in high-profile splits.
