Nollywood Actor Identified Among Casualties in Lagos Police Operation Targeting Kidnap Gang

A rising Nollywood actor, Prince Henry Ode, has been identified as one of the casualties in a recent police operation against a suspected kidnapping gang in Lagos.

On July 5th, the Lagos State Police Command’s Special Squad One Team engaged a nine-man kidnapping gang operating around the Ajao, Okota, Isolo, and Ladipo areas of the state. The operation resulted in the death of all nine suspects, with the police recovering five AK-47 rifles and two SUVs from the scene.

Seun Oloketuyi, a prominent film producer and former Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON), confirmed that Prince Henry Ode, a rising actor from Port Harcourt, was among the slain suspects. Ode was also known for his role as the executive producer for popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie.

Oloketuyi took to Instagram to share photos and a video of Ode, stating, “Ason Rich executive Producer is said to be the Ring Leader of the Kidnap gang that were shot dead in Lagos with a Port Harcourt-based rising Actor, They were part of those killed in the Ladipo shooting according to reports.”
