Building Collapse in Abuja: Three Rescued, Emergency Responders Still Battling to Save Trapped Victims
A devastating building collapse has occurred in Kubwa, Abuja, leaving several people trapped under the rubble. The two-storey building, which served as a clinic and residential apartment, collapsed at 7 a.m. this morning.
According to reports, the building was located at Plot C31, Sultan Dasuki Road, Kubwa, and initially functioned as a guest house before being converted into a residential apartment. Emergency responders, including the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), police, FCT FEMA, and FCT Development Control, are currently on the scene, working to rescue those trapped.
So far, three persons have been rescued, but many more are still trapped under the rubble. The rescue efforts are ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the cause of the collapse.
