American Rapper Cupcakke Donates to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund Amid Ongoing Conflict
American rapper Elizabeth Eden Harris, known by her stage name Cupcakke, has made a significant donation to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war. The donation, amounting to $15,510.60, is a significant gesture of support for the children affected by the conflict.
Cupcakke shared a screenshot of her donation on her social media handle, urging others to do the same. Her message reads, “I’ve donated to Palestine Children’s Relief, and for any others that want to help by donating, or even just help spread the word that will be great.”
Cupcakke’s decision to support the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund follows in the footsteps of American singer Kehlani, who recently revealed that she lost opportunities and deals due to her vocal support for Palestine. Kehlani, who has been a vocal advocate for social justice, raised $500,000 for the people of Gaza, Congo, and Sudan in addition to declaring her support for Palestine on social media and featuring the Palestinian flag in her video for “Next 2 U”.
In an interview with the Breakfast Club, Kehlani spoke about the backlash she faced for her charitable act, stating that it earned her “a lot of pushback”. Despite this, she remains committed to using her platform to raise awareness and support for social and humanitarian causes.
Cupcakke’s donation is a testament to her commitment to using her platform to make a positive impact. As the world grapples with the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, her generosity is a beacon of hope for those affected.
