Sudden Death of Nigerian Lawmaker Rocks Kaduna State

The unexpected passing of Ekene Abubakar Adams, a Nigerian lawmaker representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in Kaduna State, has sent shockwaves through the region. Governor Uba Sani has expressed his deep pain and sorrow over the sudden loss of the young and dynamic politician.

According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kaduna State, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, Ekene Adams lived an exemplary life of active service to his constituency and Kaduna State at large. He was widely respected as a politician, community leader, sports administrator, and philanthropist.

One of Adams’ notable achievements was the establishment of KADA City FC, a Nigerian football club based in Kaduna, which aimed to discover and promote football talents within the state. He was often regarded as one of the youngest football club owners in Nigeria and also served as the Chairman of the House Committee on Sports.

Governor Sani has condoled with the family of the deceased and the people of Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, describing Ekene Adams as a trailblazer and fearless politician and administrator. He has called for prayers from well-meaning Nigerians for the people of Kaduna State during this difficult time.
