PDP Governors’ Forum Vows to Reclaim Leadership Positions from Other Parties

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum has made a bold move to reclaim all leadership positions currently occupied by other political parties in Nigeria. The forum, comprising governors from various states, held a meeting in Enugu State, where they vowed to make history and showcase their perseverance.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, who chairs the PDP Governors’ Forum, made the announcement during the opening of the forum meeting at the Government House in Enugu. According to Mohammed, the meeting is a unique and ambitious initiative in the history of the party, aiming to make history and demonstrate their commitment to Nigeria’s progress.

The governors also discussed issues affecting the party, such as governance, inter-party relations, and congresses, with the ultimate goal of providing a credible alternative to Nigerians. The meeting involved PDP governors, national working committee members, and various party organs.

Notably, Governor Mohammed expressed concerns about the country’s direction, stating that the country is driving towards anarchy. However, he emphasized that the PDP shares a history and aspiration with Nigerians, and they will not allow anarchy to prevail.

The PDP Governors’ Forum has thus set its sights on reclaiming leadership positions in all states currently controlled by other parties. This move marks a significant step in the party’s efforts to reclaim its position as a dominant force in Nigerian politics.

The meeting was attended by various PDP governors, including Sheyin Makinde of Oyo State, Umo Eno of Akwa-Ibom State, and Peter Mbah of Enugu State, who hosted the meeting.

It remains to be seen how the PDP Governors’ Forum will execute this ambitious plan, but one thing is clear: the party is determined to make its mark in Nigerian politics once again.
