Simi Reveals Her Shocking Change of Heart on Motherhood
In a recent episode of “The Roadshow” on Cool FM, Nigerian singer Simi opened up about her journey into motherhood and the surprising changes she’s experienced. The singer, who welcomed her daughter Adejare in 2020, revealed that she used to think she would be the type of mother who would have multiple nannies for her kids.
Speaking on the show, Simi shared that before having her daughter, she would say that she would have five nannies and her nanny would have a nanny, but that’s not the case. She explained that she’s super hands-on and only gets nannies for her daughter when they come to Nigeria, as she’s busier in the country than in the States.
Simi also revealed that she’s trying to write a book, a novel, and is exploring other creative projects, including a children’s book. When asked if she’s picked up any new skills or hobbies outside of music, she shared her passion for writing and her desire to tap into the children’s book market.
