New iQoo Phone Spotted: iQoo Z9 Turbo+ Leak Reveals Specifications and Launch Timeline
Vivo’s sub-brand, iQoo, has been gearing up to launch a new Z-series phone, and the latest leak has provided some valuable insights into its specifications and timeline. According to Digital Chat Station, a trusted tipster in China, the upcoming phone, dubbed iQoo Z9 Turbo+, is expected to arrive sometime in September or October.
As the successor to the iQoo Z9 Turbo, which was launched in April, the new phone will likely boast some significant upgrades. According to the leak, the iQoo Z9 Turbo+ will feature a 1.5K resolution flat OLED display and run on a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. This chip is an improvement over the previous Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, providing enhanced performance and battery life.
While the exact battery capacity is still under wraps, Digital Chat Station claims that the iQoo Z9 Turbo+ will come equipped with a battery featuring “large silicon cells” – likely referring to improved energy storage. This information also matches with the vanilla iQoo Z9 Turbo, which has a massive 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging support.
Pricing for the new phone is still unclear, but we can expect it to fall in line with its predecessor. The iQoo Z9 Turbo launched in China with a starting price of around CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,000) for the 12GB+ 256GB model and a top-end 16GB+ 512GB model priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 29,000).
When the iQoo Z9 Turbo+ launches, it will likely join the market alongside its predecessor, offering users a higher-end alternative with improved specs. Fans of the brand are eagerly anticipating this new device, and with these leaked details, it’s safe to say that the iQoo Z9 Turbo+ has already generated a significant amount of buzz.
