In a shocking revelation, the Zamfara State Government has admitted that it has not received the 20 trucks of rice allocated by the Federal Government. According to Comrade Nuhu Salisu Anka, Director General of Media and Communication to the State Governor, the state is still waiting for its allocation, which was approved by the Federal Government.

In a telephone interview with newsmen in Gusau, the state capital, Anka stated that the Federal Government had earlier announced the dispatch of the consignments to state governments. However, Zamfara State is yet to receive its allocation of 20 trucks of rice, which has raised concerns among the public.

When asked about the delay, Anka assured that the moment the consignments arrive, he will ensure that journalists are notified about the arrival of the allocation to Zamfara State. The Federal Government’s allocation of rice to states was aimed at addressing food shortages and supporting the economy.

The development has sparked curiosity among residents of Zamfara State, who are eager to know when they can expect to receive their share of the allocated rice. As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen when Zamfara State will finally receive its allocated rice and how it will address the food shortage in the state.
