Iconic Open University Sokoto Announces Date for Second Semester Physical Examination
The management of Iconic Open University Sokoto has announced the date for the commencement of the second semester physical examination. The announcement was made by the university registrar, Muhammad Sanusi, in a statement sent to Daily Nigerian on Sunday.
According to Sanusi, the highly anticipated examination for the 2023-2024 session will commence on Monday, July 22, across 41 centers in Nigeria. Students across the country will attend the physical exams at 41 exam centers across 36 states, including Abuja, where they will undertake the examination under the supervision of assigned invigilators by the university.
The university has also spelled out the general examination rules for students alongside the code of conduct for the examination supervisors and proctors. Sanusi disclosed that the Directorate of Academic Planning, DAP, has briefed the Senate that the curriculum for all programs has been covered across all programs. Additionally, the Directorate of Exams and Records, DER, has informed the Senate that all tools and necessary technological needs for the exams have been deployed.
Iconic Open University is a private open and distance learning institution licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Universities Commission, NUC, to provide education through the open, distance, and e-learning modes.
