Nigerian Actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande Denies Affair with Senate President Godswill Akpabio

Dakore Egbuson-Akande, a renowned Nigerian actress, has categorically denied a recent report claiming she had an affair with Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The actress took to her official Instagram page on Monday to respond to the allegations, which were made by a viral report on Sunday.

According to the report, Dakore was listed among other female celebrities allegedly linked to the Senate President. However, the actress refuted the claims, stating that she had never met Akpabio before. She expressed her shock, disappointment, and anger at the report, describing it as a “wicked lie from the pit of hell.”

“I’m happily married with two beautiful children. I keep to myself, mind my business, and do my work. So, for someone to want to tarnish my hard-earned name and image for some clicks, no way,” she wrote.

Dakore went further to challenge anyone who can provide video or audio evidence of her alleged affair with Akpabio to come forward, offering a sum of N5 million (approximately $13,000 USD) to anyone who can provide proof. The actress emphasized that she is prepared to take legal action against anyone who continues to spread the false rumors.

This is not the first time the actress has faced allegations of this nature. However, her bold response to the latest report has left many fans and followers praising her courage and determination to clear her name.

The development has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many Nigerians calling for an investigation into the matter and holding the alleged blogger accountable for spreading false information.
