Taraba APC Calls for More Political Appointments from President Tinubu

The leadership of the Taraba State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to consider the state for more political appointments. According to the party, this would provide its members with a sense of belonging and enable them to contribute to national development.

The party made its position known on Tuesday, commending the President for appointing Abubakar Dantsoho, a native of Taraba, as the new Managing Director of the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA). The APC acknowledged its significant contribution to the party’s victory in the last general election.

Aaron Artimas, the party’s state public secretary, spoke on behalf of the leadership, expressing gratitude to the President for selecting Dantsoho for the important appointment. Artimas described the appointment as “historic and monumental,” highlighting Dantsoho’s expertise and experience in the maritime sector.

As a certified and brilliant maritime expert, Dantsoho has previously served in various roles within the Nigerian Port Authority, including port manager and Technical Assistant to a former Managing Director of NPA. Artimas assured that Dantsoho is the right choice for the position, citing his expertise and experience.

The APC in Taraba is now looking forward to more such important appointments from the state, which would enable its members to contribute to national development. The party believes that these appointments would provide a sense of belonging and recognition for its members, leading to increased participation and commitment to the party’s goals.

The leadership of the Taraba APC is optimistic that President Tinubu will consider their request, recognizing the significant contribution of the party in the state to the party’s overall success.
