Falz Opens Up About Fear of Marriage and Ideal Relationship as a Celebrity

Falz, Nigerian Rapper, Opens Up About His Fear of Marriage

In a recent episode of the Unpack podcast, Nigerian rapper Falz revealed his concerns about getting married. The celebrity confessed that as a public figure, he is unsure about what an ideal marriage would look like and is still weighing the option of keeping his future marital life private.

“I’m not married, I’ve been single for a while now. Maybe I should just try marriage. I don’t know the ideal relationship. Maybe that is one of the reasons I am not bothered to try,” Falz said.

The rapper expressed concerns about navigating the complexities of being an artiste and being in the public eye. He asked himself if his marriage would be public or “coded,” whether he would come out as a famous couple, and acknowledged that these decisions are often difficult to make.

Falz cited the struggles of entertainers in maintaining a healthy family life as one of the primary reasons for his hesitation. He shared that it can be tough to find a balance between personal and professional life, especially when his relationship becomes a matter of public interest.

Interestingly, this confession comes after Falz admitted in 2022 that he had never been in love.

With his thoughts on marriage and relationships, Falz joins the list of celebrities who have shared their concerns and experiences with marriage. As one of the most popular rappers in Nigeria, his thoughts on the matter have sparked interesting discussions among fans and critics alike.
