Kamala Harris Gains Celebrities’ Endorsement as Joe Biden Steps Down as Democratic Candidate

Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States, has been gaining momentum in her presidential campaign as more celebrities are stepping up to endorse her. In recent news, three high-profile celebrities, Olivia Rodrigo, Katy Perry, and Tina Knowles (Beyoncé’s mother), have officially backed Harris as their presidential choice.

Pop star and actress Olivia Rodrigo has become the latest celebrity to show her support for Harris. Rodrigo shared a video on her Instagram account featuring Harris speaking about restoring reproductive rights at her first campaign rally, accompanied by cheering emojis.

In another significant endorsement, singer Katy Perry also expressed her support for Harris by sharing an edit of Harris’ campaign speech set to her hit song ‘Woman’s World.’ Perry’s captioned the video, “It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it,” which is the main refrain from her song.

Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, endorsed Harris on Sunday, shortly after Joe Biden stepped down as the Democratic Party candidate. Harris has also been granted permission to use Beyoncé’s song ‘Freedom’ for her presidential campaign. The song has been played at Harris’ first official campaign rally and her visit to the campaign headquarters.

Harris has made it clear that she stands firmly on the issues of reproductive rights and empowering women. Her endorsements from high-profile celebrities like Olivia Rodrigo, Katy Perry, and Tina Knowles show that she is gaining widespread support from various corners.

These celebrity endorsements will likely impact the upcoming presidential elections as more people are becoming aware of Harris’ campaign and her vision for a better future.
