Sean Combs, aka Diddy, Implicated in Tupac Shakur’s 1996 Murder
In a shocking turn of events, embattled American music mogul Sean Combs, aka Diddy, has been implicated in the 1996 murder of legendary rapper Tupac Shakur. According to new court documents filed on Thursday (July 18), Combs is accused of paying $1 million for Shakur’s assassination, alleged to have been carried out by suspect Duane “Keefe D” Davis.
Davis, who was arrested for the murder last year, has reportedly testified to Combs’ involvement in Shakur’s murder in court documents. In a transcript, Davis allegedly stated that Combs told him and a group of about 45 people that he would “give anything” to have Shakur’s head because he was “scared” of him and had a problem with Shakur after the latter released a diss track about him.
Combs, who was named 77 times in the documents under his various pseudonyms, including Puffy, Puff Daddy, Puff, and his government name, Sean Combs, is also accused of paying Eric Von Martin a million dollars for the killings.
The documents were filed by prosecutors in a bid to oppose Davis’ latest bail request. Davis’ $112,500 bail bond was rejected last month over concerns about the source of the money. However, it remains unclear whether Combs will be subpoenaed or indicted as part of the case.
The news has sent shockwaves through the music industry, with many fans and followers of both Combs and Shakur stunned by the allegations. The investigation into Shakur’s murder has been ongoing for decades, and these latest revelations could potentially bring a long-awaited sense of closure to the tragic event.
