In a recent media briefing, the criteria for selecting contestants for the upcoming season of Big Brother Naija has been revealed. The theme for this season, centred around pairing and creating dynamic duos, promises to deliver unparalleled twists and turns. This season’s selection criteria is based on the mindset “better as pairs,” with a focus on contestants entering the show with their friends, besties, family members, wives, husbands, and partners.

The grand prize for this season is a whopping ₦100 million worth of prizes, including a cash prize and an SUV. The season will kick off on Sunday, July 28, 2024, and will feature a Custodian Challenge, HoH Ballot, and Immunity Challenge, among other exciting events.

Fans can participate in the Fave Lock-In, a new feature that allows them to make predictions of the pairs they think will win the Immunity Challenge, with some lucky fans being rewarded with ₦1 million weekly.

To vote for their favourite contestants, fans need to download the new MyDStv app before Sunday, July 28, 2024, as the old application will be phased out.
