Samsung Galaxy A06: Leaked Details Suggest Upcoming Entry-Level Smartphone
Samsung is rumored to be launching a new entry-level smartphone, the Galaxy A06, soon, and new details have emerged ahead of its expected arrival. The device’s design renders have been leaked, giving us an idea of what to expect from the upcoming handset.
According to the leaked images, the Samsung Galaxy A06 features a flat display with a waterdrop-style cutout that houses the selfie camera. The display is surrounded by large bezels, and the phone has flat edges. The right edge of the device houses the power button with an integrated fingerprint scanner and volume buttons, situated on top of the Key Island, similar to other A-series models.
The rear panel has a glossy finish, and it features a vertically aligned dual camera setup alongside an LED flash. The camera setup is the only visible branding on the device, with the Samsung logo placed near the bottom of the rear panel. Additionally, the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille located on the bottom edge.
Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A06 include a 6.7-inch LCD screen and a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, as per the leaked details. The device is expected to come with 6GB of RAM, although there is no mention of internal storage or other memory variants. The camera setup is dual-rear camera, but details of the sensors are still unknown.
The Galaxy A06 will reportedly run on Android 14 and feature a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W charging. Samsung has not yet announced a launch timeline for the device in India, but a support page for the handset with the model number SM-A065F has been spotted on the company’s website in India, hinting at its imminent arrival in the country.
