Father Pleas with Surgeon to Spare Trans Daughter’s Breasts, Citing Her History of Mental Health Issues

In a heart-wrenching letter, a distressed father has urged a leading UK plastic surgeon, Mohsen El Gammal, to refrain from performing a transgender surgery on his 20-year-old daughter, citing her history of mental health issues.

The father, who asked to remain anonymous to protect his daughter’s privacy, shared the emotional letter with The Mail on Sunday. He expressed concerns that the surgery would exacerbate her mental health conditions, including depression and self-harm.

“This is my plea to Dr. El Gammal: I believe you are not fully aware of your patient’s psychological condition,” the father wrote. “You should not go ahead with the proposed surgery without proper mental assessments and treatment for her depression… Please, please, spare my daughter the damage this unnecessary surgery could bring.”

The letter continues, stating that his daughter needs to “learn that happiness comes from within, and that self-harm is not the way out.” He pleaded with Dr. El Gammal not to “rob [his] daughter of the opportunity to breastfeed her future children” and “not to limit her potential partners in life.”

Regrettably, the father claims not to have received any acknowledgement from the clinic following his letter. Despite his passionate plea, reports suggest that his 20-year-old daughter underwent a double mastectomy surgery at the Cadogan Clinic in west London, involving the removal of both breasts.

El Gammal, a renowned breast and plastic surgeon, has reportedly carried out over 1,000 operations of the like. His expertise extends to treating breast cancer patients as well as performing cosmetic breast procedures.

This heartbreaking case gained attention after a recent report from PUNCH Online, which shed light on the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, discussing his son’s transgender child. Musk has shared publicly that his child, Xavier, has undergone gender transition after prescribed medication.
