Kwara United Extends Pre-Season Training in Ikenne for Maximum Performance

Kwara United to Continue Preparation at Ikenne’s Remo Stars Stadium

In preparation for the upcoming season, Nigerian soccer team Kwara United will be continuing their training regime in Ikenne, according to their club chairman, Kumbi Titiloye. The decision follows their elimination from the ongoing pre-season tournament also hosted in Ikenne at Remo Stars Stadium.

Titiloye cited the excellent facilities and tranquil surroundings of the stadium as perfect grounds for the team to bond ahead of the new season. “We are pleased to stay in Ikenne as our training will allow us to maximally utilize the facilities to successfully accomplish our rebuilding process with our whole attention,” he affirmed at a press conference.

The veteran league is indeed a physically and mentally demanding competition, and for Titiloye, the type of tournament requires a different approach, where “training is based on preparing our players for marathon games in a more focused manner” beyond the pre-season.

Of paramount importance is the team’s management; they have been actively upgrading the player roster following a severe housecleaning at the close of the previous season. According to reports by Media Talk Africa, Kwara United has welcomed new players under head coach Kabiru Dogo, intent on rebuilding the team for next year’s competition.

As Kwara United embarks on this promising rehabilitation process, fans and rivals will be eagerly watching this interesting development, eager to see which aspects of the team will be restored during the forthcoming season.
