Teen Mom Rhuthee Opens Up About shame and Love

Teen Mother’s Journey of Self-Discovery

Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate Rhuthee has opened up about her experiences as a teen mother, revealing the emotional journey she took to come to terms with her situation.

In a heartfelt conversation with fellow housemate Mayor Frosh, Rhuthee shared her initial feelings of shame and embarrassment about being a young mother. She revealed that she struggled to keep her secret hidden, even from friends and acquaintances. "How do I tell people I have a child? I can’t tell people. I never used to tell people I have a child," she said, fighting back tears.

Rhuthee admitted that it took her years to overcome her insecurities and feelings of shame. "It was just people that knew me from way back that knew that. I was still very ashamed that I had a child. It took me years to come out of that shell," she said.

However, as her daughter grew older, Rhuthee discovered a newfound appreciation for motherhood. "As she grows, she even showed me more love than I ever did. And I’m like, this girl is the best thing that happened to me," she said, her voice filled with emotion.

Rhuthee’s story serves as a powerful reminder that becoming a young parent can be a challenging and isolating experience. However, with time, support, and self-discovery, it is possible to overcome the emotional struggles associated with teen motherhood and find a path towards self-acceptance and empowerment.
