Big Brother Naija Housemate Chinwe Refuses to be Reduced to a Maid
In a recent drama-filled episode of Big Brother Naija Season 9, housemate Chinwe has made it clear that she won’t be doing household chores for her fellow contestants. The housemate, who has been struggling with sleep deprivation, expressed her frustration with her colleagues who don’t clean up after cooking.
According to Chinwe, she hasn’t slept since the previous night and is feeling exhausted. She took to her colleagues to express her discontent, stating, "Will I go and wash the pots for the people that cook? I haven’t slept since last night, my head hurts. I nor come here to do housegirl work for kitchen."
Chinwe’s outburst was a result of the house’s unwritten rule that those who cook should also clean up after themselves. However, she argued that this rule is not being followed, and she is being left to do all the household chores. "The thing is that we reached an agreement that if you cook, you clean up after yourself. So how do I now tell people that are meant to assist for communal cooking to go and clean up after people that cook individually?" she asked.
Chinwe’s plea has sparked a heated debate among her fellow housemates, with some siding with her and others arguing that it’s a minor issue. The situation has also raised questions about the dynamics within the Big Brother Naija house and how contestants will work together to maintain a clean and harmonious living environment.
As the drama unfolds, fans of the show are eagerly waiting to see how the situation will be resolved and what impact it will have on the housemates’ relationships.
