Big Sean Unveils Special Music Video Dedicated to Son Noah

American rapper Big Sean has just dropped a heartfelt music video that serves as a love letter to his nine-month-old son, Noah. Titled "On Up," the visual features the rapper’s parents, Jhené Aiko, and other family members, showcasing the love and adoration they have for Noah.

The music video is directed by Lawrence Lamont, Noah’s Godfather, and is shot in the POV of the baby. The video takes viewers through a full day of activities, showcasing Sean taking Noah out for a walk, feeding him a meal, and even watching him take his first steps. Throughout the video, Sean raps introspective bars about the lessons fatherhood has taught him so far.

One of the standout lyrics from the video is when Sean raps, "I look into my son’s eyes and still see his innocence/I see my inner child in him and still the remnants/Will he lose it to the world as an emanator/Or is it something that in me and his mama had instilled in him/And the confidence you lose you could build again/He only 9 months barely sitting up he almost fell over, I called him and told him to (Get on up)".

Sean also took to Instagram to express his appreciation for the video, giving a shoutout to his lady and the director. "One of my favorite videos, full of my favorite people, and shot by Noah’s God Dad @lawrencelamont," he wrote. "I appreciate my family being apart and especially @jheneaiko cause she was exhausted but still came thru to help make this idea such a special video for me."

The video also touched on the challenges Big Sean faced when his album was leaked last month. Despite the setback, he decided to capitalize on the situation and drop more cuts from the LP for fans to hear. The road to the album’s release may not have been smooth, but Big Sean has turned it into an opportunity to connect with his fans.

With the album still in the works, fans are eagerly anticipating its release. In the meantime, they can enjoy the heartwarming "On Up" music video and appreciate Big Sean’s dedication to his family.
