Rival Nigerian Comedians Involved in Heated Fallout, Denilson Igwe Claims
Comedian Denilson Igwe, a well-known figure in Nigeria’s entertainment scene, has sparked a controversy after accusing his former colleague, Mark Angel, of spreading rumors that he had died following their highly publicized fallout.
Igwe made the startling allegations during an interview on the popular podcast "The Honest Bunch", claiming that Mark Angel not only spread false news about his passing but also went so far as to make a video announcement declaring his demise. In the video, Angel reportedly exclaimed "Denilson don die o!" (meaning "Denilson has died").
According to Igwe, the incident occurred after the two comedians fell out, leaving Igwe shocked and disheartened. The incident did not go unnoticed, as one individual recently reached out to confirm if the rumor was true, only to be reassured that Igwe was indeed very much alive.
Igwe’s accusations also implicated his former collaborator’s other co-stars, Emmanuella and Success, suggesting that they may one day reveal their own experiences of being manipulated or mistreated by Mark Angel. As for Mark Angel himself, his reaction to the allegations has yet to be made public.
The controversy adds to the long-standing drama between these two popular comedians, whose falling out has left fans of the entertainment world eager to see how events unfold.
