Ghana’s Ruling Party Unveils 2024 Manifesto Committee

The New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ghana’s ruling party, has announced the formation of an 11-member committee to organize the launch of its 2024 manifesto. The committee will be responsible for unveiling the party’s vision and policies for the upcoming elections.

According to a statement released by NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong on Monday, August 5, the committee will be chaired by Madam Oboshie Sai-Coffie, with Ms. Abena Asante as the secretary. The committee members include a diverse range of individuals, including politicians, academics, and professionals.

The committee’s mandate is to deliver a successful launch of the manifesto, which is scheduled to take place on August 18, 2024, in Takoradi, the capital of the Western Region. The party has expressed confidence in the committee’s ability to deliver on its mandate in the supreme interest of the NPP.

The committee’s members bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. They include Mr. Henry Nana Boakye, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Hon. Fati Abubakar, Dr. Antoinette Tsibo-Darko, Madam Kate Gyamfuah, Mr. Ndede Siah, Mr. Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Hon. Anthony Abayifa Karbo, and Alhaji Haruna Mohammed.

The NPP’s decision to unveil its manifesto is a significant step in the country’s electoral process. The party’s vision and policies will be crucial in shaping the country’s future, and the committee’s efforts will be closely watched by the public and the media.
