SZA Announces Indefinite Hiatus from Live Performances
Grammy-winning R&B sensation Solána Imani Rowe, known professionally as SZA, has taken to social media to announce a break from live performances. The 30-year-old singer, who recently headlined Montreal’s Osheaga Festival on August 5, revealed the indefinite hiatus in a poignant message.
In a post on her X handle, SZA wrote: “Yesterday was my last show for a while. Finally bout to get my life together. Thank u God.” The “Kill Bill” hitmaker explained that she needs the break to focus on getting her life together.
SZA has been touring non-stop since early 2023, performing 63 shows across the globe as part of her “SOS” Tour before diving into a packed summer festival schedule. It’s clear that the singer needs a breather to recharge and refocus.
Fans are understandably eager to know what’s next for the “Good Days” singer-songwriter. Will she return to the stage with a new album or single? Only time will tell. One thing is certain, however – SZA’s hiatus is a reminder that even the most successful artists need time to prioritize their own well-being.
Stay tuned for updates on SZA’s future projects and performances!
