Bayer Leverkusen Star Victor Boniface Eager to Repeat Success in Upcoming Season

Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen are gearing up for another exciting season, and Nigerian international Victor Boniface is ready to lead the charge. The talented forward linked up with Die Werkself from Belgian Pro League outfit Union St. Gillloise last summer and had a remarkable debut season with the club.

Boniface was a key player in Leverkusen’s success, scoring 21 goals and providing 10 assists in 34 appearances. He was a part of the team that won the Bundesliga title and DFB Pokal, as well as reaching the final of the UEFA Europa League, where they ultimately lost 3-0 to Atalanta.

In a recent interview with the Counter Attack podcast, Boniface expressed his excitement and determination to repeat the team’s success in the upcoming season. "We enjoyed what happened, how we made history and were celebrated by the club. And everyone that witnessed it wants to witness more. I’m ready to give 100 percent to achieve what we achieved last year, and I’m sure it’s the same for the rest of the players."

Under the guidance of coach Xabi Alonso, Bayer Leverkusen will be looking to build on their impressive first season together and challenge for more honors. With Boniface at the forefront, fans can expect to see some thrilling football and exciting performances from the Nigerian forward.

Stay tuned for more updates on Bayer Leverkusen’s preseason preparations and Victor Boniface’s journey as they look to make a splash in the new season.
