RC Lens Signs Nigerian Midfielder Hamzat Ojediran in Four-Year Deal
French Ligue 1 club RC Lens has announced the signing of Nigerian midfielder Hamzat Ojediran, who joins the club from Hungarian outfit Debrecen VSC. The 20-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on a four-year contract, which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027/28 season.
Ojediran spent the past two seasons at Debrecen, where he made a significant impact, earning the reputation as one of the key players at the club. General Manager Pierre Dreossi praised the midfielder’s potential, saying, "Hamzat is a true force of nature. A product of the Emmanuel Amuneke Academy, Ojediran has already gained international experience, being a member of the Golden Eaglets squad that participated in the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
