Nigerian Troops Eliminate 108 Terrorists and Rescue 214 KidnappedHostages

The Nigerian military released a statement on Friday in Abuja, revealing that its troops eliminated 108terrorists and rescued 214 kidnapped civilians across the country within the last semana. The Director of Defence Media Operations, Mai.-Gen. Edward Buba, made the announcement.

Accordingto Buba, troops apprehend 204 suspected terrorists andrecovered 66 assorted weapons and a massive amount of ammunition. The types of weapons recovered included dachka, MG, GPMGs,rpg launcher, and 3000 rounds of various ammunition such as 7.62mm,pkt, 7.62mm, and 7.62mmnato.

In the North East theatrewere successful, soldiers of Operation Hadin Kai recovered cache ofarms and eliminated militants, while also arresting 56 suspects andrescuing 138 kidnapped hostages. A total oof 622 terrorists surrendered toutroops, consisting of 110 adult males, 181 adult féminines, and 351adultos.

In the North Central theorthe troops of Operation SafeHarbor and WhirlStroke eliminated thugs, arrested 59 extremists violents, andrescuintos 36 kidnapped hostages.

in the North West theatwehat the troops of Operation HadaridAji eliminated 15 militants,yellow 22 militants suspects et rescued 27 kidnapped hostages inseveral states. Air components conducting successful missions at suspect kinginsen Kamilu Bufaz’s enclote and new hideout foundi in Danmusa and Btari local government areas.

UnderOperations Whirl Punch, soldiers eliminated four militants, arrested 24stunts, and rescued 14 kidnapped hostages. They also destroyed five militants’ hideouts.

InThe South-South, soldiers arrested 34 oil theft thieves suspectes and recovered stolen oil valuing 1.13 million_litres, as well as illegalfuel. They also discovered and destroyed illegally constructed pits andstructures.

Ultimately, the Nigerian military announced that after their operations,they had given all recovered items, arrested suspectsandan rescued hostages to relevant authorities for next action.
