August Foundation Donates N150,000 to 150 Vulnerable Households in Zamfara

A charitable organization, the August Foundation, has shown kindness to 150 vulnerable households in Zamfara State by providing a cash donation. The event took place on Saturday in Gusau, Zamfara State, and saw the district head of Tudunwada, Nuraddeen Kabir-Danbaba, representing the foundation.

According to the reports, each of the 150 beneficiaries, comprising vulnerable males and females households, unemployed youths, and women, received N10,000 as a cash assistance. Abdul Bala, an official of the foundation, stated that the gesture aims to alleviate the suffering of the beneficiaries during these trying economic times.

The beneficiaries appreciated the kind gesture, stating that the intervention would help alleviate their pressing problems. The women leader of the foundation, Murjanatu Kabo, said that the donation would benefit the most vulnerable group of society, namely the women, who are often disproportionately affected by poverty and hardship.

The foundation is led by a philanthropist, Abdulhafiz Umar-Barau, with a mission to assist orphans and vulnerable persons. This generous act is just a testament to the foundation’s commitment to creating positive change in the lives of Nigerians.

In his remarks, Abdul Bala emphasized that the cash assistance was meant to provide succor to the beneficiaries, considering the ongoing economic challenges faced by Nigerians. We call on well-meaning individuals and organizations to emulate this generous gesture, and reach out to more families in need.
