Instead, the rapper shared a series of skits with content creator Jordan Howlett, revealing that the album will be pushed back.
In the first skit, Big Sean looks in the mirror and says, “So, the album didn’t drop tonight.” Suddenly, Howlett appears, taking responsibility for the album’s delay. “The album’s not coming out tonight. And I know what you’re thinking, ‘Why Jordan? Why is not?’ It’s my fault. It is my fault,” Howlett says in another video.
The reason for the delay, according to Big Sean, is that he needs more time to plan listening events and shows. “Music done but jus organizing listening events, shows etc. might need a extra week or 2 to plan.??✨,” he replied to a fan on social media.
Big Sean’s new single, “On Up”, gives what the rapper calls “barbecue vibes”. The single is a part of the upcoming album, which will be the rapper’s sixth studio album. However, no official release date has been given.

However, Big Sean quickly shot down those rumors in a live with GothamHipHop, stating, “I know he ain’t do that sht. I love Ye. Without him, there would be no me.”
