Fulham’s Alex Iwobi Eager for New Premier League Season to Kick-Off

Fulham star Alex Iwobi is building up the excitement for the upcoming Premier League season, having concluded his team’s pre-season campaign with a 2-0 win over Bundesliga club Hoffenheim on Saturday.

The Nigerian international midfielder made a significant impact in the game, providing both assists for Emile Smith Rowe and Adama Traore, who scored the goals that sealed the victory.

After the match, Iwobi expressed his enthusiasm for the new season, stating that he was tired but feeling sharp and ready to start the campaign. "It’s good that we were able to get the result, get some minutes in the legs. I’m very tired right now but feeling sharp and ready for the season to start," he said in a post-match interview with Fulham’s official website.

Iwobi also emphasized the importance of creating chances for his teammates, highlighting the threat posed by the likes of Smith Rowe and Traore. "If I can’t score, at least I’m able to create chances for my team-mates and Smith Rowe and Adama Traore are going to put those chances away. It’s not just them – there are so many goal threats in this team," he noted.

With this impressive pre-season form, Fulham fans are eagerly anticipating the start of the new Premier League season, which is set to kick off soon.
