Oppo F27 5G Launching Soon in India with Hole-Punch Display

Oppo F27 5G Confirmed to Launch in India, Expected to Debut Soon

In a recent announcement, Chinese tech brand Oppo revealed that its upcoming F series phone, the Oppo F27 5G, will soon be launching in India. Although the exact launch date remains unknown, the company has shared a teaser image on the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) showcasing the rear design of the device. Additionally, alleged live images of the Oppo F27 5G have surfaced online, giving us a glimpse of its hole-punch display and circular-shaped rear camera module.

According to Oppo India’s X post, the new F27 5G will feature a circular-shaped camera module housing dual rear cameras, similar to the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G that was released in June. However, the company has yet to disclose the exact launch date or key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. Rumors suggest that the Oppo F27 5G will be unveiled next week in two RAM and storage options: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.

Alleged live images of the Oppo F27 5G shared by 91Mobiles indicate a hole-punch display and noticeable bezels on the screen. The device appears to have a dual-tone design with a gradient finish, which is a departure from the leather back of the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G.

The Oppo F27 5G is expected to sit below the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G in the market, with the latter’s price starting at Rs. 27,999 for the 8GB RAM+ 128GB option in India. The 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 29,999. For comparison, the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W wired fast charging, and features a 64-megapixel dual rear camera unit with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Oppo F27 5G’s launch and specifications.
