Big Brother Naija Contestant Chinwe Demands Change in Eviction Rules
In a shocking move, Big Brother Naija Season 9 contestant Chinwe has called on the show’s organizers to overhaul the current eviction system, giving custodians and housemates too much power over the fate of their fellow contestants.
According to Media Talk Africa, the current rule gives any pair that wins the custodian challenge the power to influence nominations and eviction. Additionally, housemates who are not in the bottom four also get to vote for which pair to be evicted, depending on what’s in the custodian box.
During a conversation with fellow housemates on Monday, Chinwe expressed her frustration with the current system, saying it prevents housemates from fully expressing themselves. She urged Biggie to scrap the method, allowing housemates to speak their minds without fear of being evicted by their colleagues.
Chinwe’s concerns centered around the imbalance of power in the house, stating that there’s “too much power in this house, so people cannot actually speak their minds.” She emphasized that the need to decide who to evict in the Dairy room is enough to calm people down, implying that the pressure to avoid being targeted by their peers is too great.
The contestant’s plea to Biggie is simple: “Scrap that method. Talk your talk. The fact that we have to decide people’s fate, you wouldn’t want to step on toes to avoid other housemates ganging up against you.”
With this bold move, Chinwe is stirring up controversy and sparking debate among fans and viewers of the popular reality TV show. Will Biggie take heed of her demands and shake up the eviction system, or will the status quo remain unchanged? Only time will tell.
