Pras Unleashes More Fury Against Lauryn Hill in New Diss Track

In a surprise move, Brooklyn rapper Pras has released a new diss track aimed at Lauryn Hill, seemingly placing the blame for the recent cancellation of The Fugees’ reunion tour on the “To Zion” singer. This latest attack comes after the disappointing news that the upcoming 2024 US tour was officially cancelled last week.

The new track, obtained by TMZ, sees Pras take aim at Hill, rapping “Don’t blame me, blame her, she made the mess/ Not another f**king penny, is what I told ‘Clef/ Trotting the globe with the bros, playing dominoes.” He also references his guilty verdict in his fraud trial last year, saying “Obama’s name in the discoveries had to plead the fifth… DOJ was a walk in the park compared to this.”

In an interview with TMZ Hip Hop, Pras explained that he has been saving Hill’s reputation for 20 years by not telling his side of the story. He then addressed the reaction to the announcement, saying “But oops… cat’s out the bag.”

The “Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” creator has had a track record over the last decade of cancelling shows or showing up late to them. In a statement, she blamed the cancellation of the reunion tour on “some media outlet’s penchant for sensationalism and clickbait headlines” which she claims has affected ticket sales. However, fans have speculated that the run was cancelled due to low ticket sales.

US ticketholders were notified of the cancellation via email, with a refund expected to be sent to their accounts soon. However, all European dates are still set to go ahead as planned.

Pras has made it clear that there is more to the story, and it remains to be seen what other developments will come to light. One thing is certain, though – the drama surrounding The Fugees’ reunion tour has reached new heights.
