Google Brings Heat to Pixel Phone Launch with Star-Studded YouTube Party

Google recently launched its new Pixel phones with a bang, partnering with YouTube stars to create an unforgettable online After Party. The event, hosted by Keke Palmer, breathed new life into the brand’s snooze-y “Made by Google” keynote by featuring a who’s who of YouTube talent.

Amelia Dimoldenberg, known for her popular series “Chicken Shop Date,” joined forces with drag superstars Trixie Mattel and Monét X Change, Hot Ones’ Sean Evans, science guy Mark Rober, and more to showcase Google’s newest phone models and features. The star-studded lineup brought their A-game, trying out the Add Me feature, playing with puppies, and even sharing their thoughts on Google’s latest technology.

The party got off to a sizzling start with Evans’ Hot Ones series, where Google SVP Rick Osterloh took a seat for a spicy Q&A. Next, Dimoldenberg interviewed Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler, who showcased the Pixel’s Add Me feature and even donned a primary-colored Noogler hat.

Throughout the 30-minute event, the hosts kept the energy high, switching between interviews, demos, and fun segments. Tech enthusiast Taylor Lloyd and Google Product Manager Kenny Sulaimon even got in on the action, playing with puppies and showcasing Google’s latest tech. The event concluded with a performance by The Beaches, bringing the curtain down on an unforgettable celebration.

Palmer, dressed in chic two-piece sets that perfectly matched the new Pixel 9 phones, reminded viewers throughout the stream that the event was sponsored by Google and that all participants were paid for their endorsement. Despite being a corporate affair, the After Party brought a unique and entertaining spin to the usual product launch, highlighting the modern stars and series that have become synonymous with YouTube’s greatest hits.
