Desi Lydic Rips Apart Trump’s Weird Interview with Elon Musk

Desi Lydic Takes Aim at Trump and Musk’s Bizarre Interview

The Daily Show’s Desi Lydic has responded to Monday night’s glitchy X Spaces interview between Donald Trump and Elon Musk, and she’s not holding back. The two-hour conversation between the billionaires started an hour late, with Musk attributing the delay to a cyber attack on X. However, employees at X have reportedly denied this claim.

In a series of witty remarks, Lydic poked fun at Trump’s awkward comments and Musk’s questionable explanation for the technical issues. “That’s right, only the deep state could make Elon Musk’s website suck,” she joked. “If there’s a deep state trying to silence Donald Trump, you suck at your job, OK? Because he is the opposite of silent. There is no one more unsilent than Donald Trump right now. Hey, deep state. Look at me. Look at me. Do better.”

Lydic also addressed Trump’s bizarre comments about Kamala Harris’ physical appearance on the cover of Time Magazine. In his conversation with Musk, the former president gushed that Harris “looks like the most beautiful actress to ever live” and compared her to his wife Melania. Lydic responded with humor, saying, “Ooh, someone has a crush! I think we finally found the one thing Trump is incapable of lying about. If he thinks someone is hot, he’ll say they’re hot. He’ll lie about winning an election, but he has deep respect for the sanctity of bangability.”

The exchange between Lydic and Trump’s comments highlights the absurdity of the interview and the strange dynamics between the two billionaires.
