Nigerian model of Nigerian and Mozambican heritage, Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina, recently withdrew from the Miss South Africa 2024 competition amidst questions regarding her nationality. Since then, it was revealed that the South African government claims her mother may be liable for fraudulent actions and identity deception, a grave accusation given its severe implications.
