50 Cent Clarifies Allegations of Misogyny
Rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent has responded to comments made by comedienne Lunell about his recent comedy showcase. The incident started when Lunell expressed frustration over the lack of female comediennes on the bill. She told Comedy Hype News that she was not asked to perform and explained that she was booked and busy anyway.
However, 50 Cent decided to address Lunell’s comments on social media, stating, “Proof you can’t make everybody happy?♂️, I love Lunell’s work that’s why I had them put her in Ghost. We saw her big ass was booked already, so we didn’t reach out.” Many interpreted his comments as implying that Lunell’s size made her unavailable or not ideal for the showcase. Nevertheless, 50 Cent has clarified that he only expressed admiration for Lunell’s work.
Humor & Harmony Festival Announced
In a separate statement, 50 Cent promoted the latest project he is involved with – the Humor & Harmony Festival, taking place in Shreveport, Louisiana from August 8 to 11. The comedy lineup for the festival includes several big-name performers, including Katt Williams, DC Young Fly, and 2 Chainz. The event promises to be a massive celebration of comedy, music, and entertainment.
Despite the controversy, 50 Cent has reaffirmed his dedication to supporting talented individuals, like Lunell, in the entertainment industry. Fans are eagerly anticipating the next installment of this saga, as both Lunell and 50 Cent are expected to continue engaging with their audiences through their respective platforms.
