Fenerbahce Eyes Tottenham Midfielder Giovani Lo Celso as Summer Transfer Target

Lisbon, Portugal – Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen to bring Argentine midfielder Giovani Lo Celso to his team this summer transfer window, according to the Express. The 28-year-old Tottenham Hotspur player is said to be among the seven players given the green light to leave the club by manager Ange Postecoglou.

Lo Celso has been linked with several clubs, including Aston Villa, Roma, and Real Betis, who are also interested in signing the Argentine midfielder. However, Fenerbahce will need to meet Tottenham’s £13million valuation before the transfer window closes.

The midfielder has previously played for Real Betis, where he joined Tottenham from in 2020. He also had a loan spell at LaLiga side Villarreal in the past. If Fenerbahce manages to secure Lo Celso’s services, it would be a significant coup for the Turkish club.

Mourinho’s interest in Lo Celso is not surprising, given the midfielder’s skills and experience in the Premier League. With the transfer window opening soon, fans of both Fenerbahce and Tottenham will be eagerly waiting to see if a deal can be struck.
