Media Talk Africa Exclusive: Jude Okoye Declares Burna Boy Richest Artist in Nigeria
In a shocking revelation, Jude Okoye, music executive and brother to Paul and Peter Okoye of the defunct P-Square group, has declared Grammy award-winning artiste, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, as the richest artiste in Nigeria.
Okoye made the claims during an Instagram Live session with radio personality, Daddy Freeze. According to him, no Nigerian artiste has raked in more money than Burna Boy, with his earnings in the last four years standing at about 100 million dollars.
When asked if Burna Boy has made more money than Canadian rapper, Drake, Okoye said the Afrobeats artiste made between 70 – 80 million dollars alone last year.
