Mysterious Attic Disturbance Sends Chills Down the Spine

A 30-year-old freelance artist and store owner from Tennessee, U.S., Loppy Rae, woke up to a shocking discovery in their garage – the attic hatch was open, and it had been disturbed. But that was just the beginning of the strange and unsettling events that followed.

Rae shared their experience on social media, where the post quickly went viral, gaining over 5,000 shares and 13 million views. The initial post described finding the attic open and their 5-year-old son staring into the darkness, claiming “a man lives there.” Rae later shared a photo of the open hatch, along with a new detail – a black handprint that had appeared on the attic wall.

Rae confirmed that their husband had investigated the attic and found nothing out of the ordinary. The only explanation they could think of was that the handprint was left over from a home inspection last year. However, this is not the first time the latch has been found open without explanation.

The internet has speculated that Rae may have a “phrogger” – a person who secretly hides in another person’s home – but Rae is unsure. They live in a remote area with recent bear sightings, making it unlikely that someone would wander into their home.

Their son has also reported hearing banging above his bed, which was after the attic had already been closed up again. In an attempt to get to the bottom of the mystery, Rae has set up a camera in the garage, but has yet to report any updates.

The unsettling events have left Rae’s family shaken, with their son mentioning the man in the attic multiple times. Despite their efforts to understand what’s going on, Rae is left with more questions than answers.
