Apple’s Future iPhone 16 Pro Max Set to Feature Record-Thin Screen Bezels

In preparation for its upcoming iPhone 16 series launch, Apple is rumored to be releasing a flagship model with the thinnest screen bezels in the industry. According to a tipster, Ice Universe, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is set to feature a remarkable 1.15mm bezel size, dwarfing last year’s iPhone 15 Pro Max with its 1.71mm bezels.

This stunning development is expected to provide users with an unmatched display experience, offering more screen space while maintaining a sleek and modern design. To achieve this, Apple is said to be implementing a new process called Border Reduction Structure (BRS) to minimize the bezel at the bottom of its iPhone models.

A computer-aided design (CAD) render of the iPhone 16 Pro Max has been shared by the tipster, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come. The image showcases a nearly borderless display, setting a new standard for flagship smartphones.

The iPhone 16 Pro series is expected to include four new models, with the Pro Max tipped to feature a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 4,676mAh battery with 40W wired charging support and 20W MagSafe charging. The phones are also rumored to come in black, white, gold, and grey or titanium colorways.

Apple is said to be using its rumoured flagship A18 Pro chip to power the Pro models, while the regular iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to run on the A18 Bionic chip based on TSMC’s 3nm process.

More details about the iPhone 16 family, including the anticipated debut date, are expected to surface online in the coming weeks.
