Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Spotted on US FCC Website, Expected to Launch Soon
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 FE, the successor to last year’s Galaxy S23 FE, has been spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website, hinting at an imminent global launch. The device’s model numbers, SM-S721B/DS, were identified by 91Mobiles on the FCC website, revealing some of its specifications.
The FCC listing confirms that the Galaxy S24 FE will support Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and NFC connectivity, as well as 18 5G bands. Additionally, two new Samsung batteries with model numbers EB-BS721ABE and EB-BS721ABY have been certified by the Korean Testing Certification Institute (KTC) in South Korea. These batteries are expected to power the upcoming device, which may support 25W charging, as they were tested with Samsung’s EP-TA800 charger.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is expected to be powered by an Exynos 2400e chipset from the company and run on Android 14, featuring a range of Galaxy AI capabilities. The device is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch display with up to 1,900 nits peak brightness, along with a triple rear camera setup, a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The handset will also feature a 10-megapixel selfie camera.
Samsung is rumored to have equipped the Galaxy S24 FE with a 4,565mAh battery, supporting 25W charging. Marketing materials suggest the device could offer up to 29 hours of video playback on a single charge. No official word has been released from Samsung regarding the launch of the Galaxy S24 FE, but more details are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks.
