A harrowing incident unfolded for some members of the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday night. According to the team’s social media announcement, several players and other members of the traveling party got stuck in an inoperable elevator at their Dallas-area hotel.

The situation required the intervention of the Dallas Fire-Rescue, who worked tirelessly to rescue the trapped individuals. According to the Chargers, the fire department helped everyone exit the stuck elevator through its ceiling panel and moved them into an operational elevator next to it.

The team expressed their gratitude to the Dallas Fire-Rescue for their quick response, professionalism, and substantial efforts in ensuring everyone’s safety. However, the exact number of players involved in the situation and their identities remain unclear.

Despite the ordeal, the Chargers are set to face the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday afternoon at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in their final preseason game.
