Bobrisky Wants to Return to Jail: “I See My Jail Term as a Vacation”
Controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has sparked surprise by stating his desire to return to Kirikiri Correctional Centre. The 30-year-old was released from prison on August 5, 2024, after serving a six-month sentence for spraying money at parties, which was deemed an abuse of the naira.
During an appearance on the ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask’ show hosted by Bae U Barbie, Bobrisky expressed his willingness to return to jail, albeit for a short term. When asked if prison suited him, he replied, “I would love to go, maybe for a short term like that again. Short term, not long-term.”
According to Bobrisky, he sees his jail term as a “vacation” and believes that the experience did not break him. He argued that the decision to sentence him to prison was an attempt to break him, but he is still fine and good.
The reason behind his desire to return to jail, he explained, is that he wants to prove that the authorities cannot break him. He claimed that he has never seen anyone sentenced to prison for spraying money and believes that his case was unusual.
“I’m not an ex-convict because I can’t be convicted for spraying money. So I won’t accept it,” Bobrisky said.
This unexpected statement has left many wondering what drives Bobrisky’s desire to return to prison. Despite the controversy surrounding his case, the cross-dresser remains unapologetic and determined to continue living his life on his own terms.
