In a shocking revelation, Big Brother Naija reality show star Neo Akpofure has shared his humble beginnings, revealing that he used to be a taxi driver before hitting the big time. The Nigerian reality star made the announcement while recounting his journey to fame in a recent post on his official social media account.

The post included a throwback picture of Neo alongside popular musician MC Galaxy, taken when he was still working as a driver for Bolt in Calabar, Nigeria, five years ago. Neo shared that the meeting with MC Galaxy was a memorable evening that had a profound impact on his life, changing his outlook and inspiring him to pursue his dreams.

In the post, Neo reflected on how far he has come since that day. “5 years ago today, I was still driving a bolt in Calabar when I picked up Mc Galaxy and his associate. He was craving bush meat and palm wine from somewhere called Atimbo. We enjoyed the meat and palm wine together before dropping them off at the airport,” he wrote.

Fast forward to today, Neo has built a career as an actor, model, and social media influencer, having risen to fame after participating in the BBNaija reality show in 2020. Prior to his rise to fame, Neo worked as a taxi driver, a far cry from the glamorous life he now enjoys.
